Amanda Torres, LMHC, is a dedicated mental health professional with over 20 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s emotional and psychological challenges. She earned her education through Walden University, Hodges University, and Pasco-Hernando State College, building a strong foundation in counseling and behavioral health.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and private practice. She spent 15 years serving as both a case manager and therapist within psychiatric hospital settings before transitioning into PHP care for two years and later expanding into private practice, where she has continued supporting clients for the past three years.
Amanda specializes in treating depression, anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, anger management, social skills challenges, and relationship concerns through couples therapy. Her therapeutic approach is individualized and centered around each client’s unique needs, strengths, and personal goals.
